PJ to Morib via SKVE

We went to Morib having bought a discounted stay at Gold Coast Morib, via Groupon. Based on my lookup on Google Map, it seems you can get there via KESAS -> Jalan Klang-Banting as below

or via Elite -> exiting KLIA as below,

What I did not know was that, the recently open SKVE from Saujana Putra to Pulau Indah. Had I known, I would have taken the Elite highway -> exiting Saujana Putra into SKVE -> exiting at Telok Panglima Garang. From there, just follow the sign board to Morib.
Oh well, don't think I'll be taking this route too often as there's not much here in Morib. Banting town looks happening though. Quite a lot of interesting and old shops.

PJ Half Marathon 2012

My first ever marathon event will be PJ Half Marathon 2012. I got to know of it quite late and it seems that all the slots for half marathon are full. I probably would have registered for the half marathon, but hey, without much training, probably the 7km would be a more ideal start.
7km map
The route for the 7km run.
Would would be a good time to target? 30mins?. Anyway see you on that day.

Airasia online booking

Been using Airasia for quite a few years now and the online booking system seems to be getting more and more comprehensive (for good reasons as you'll find out) as the years goes by.

I still remember when they first introduce the ability to choose the type of food you could order on the plane, then it got to a stage where you can choose whether you wanted blanket or not, insurance and so on and so forth.

Really?

I did a booking recently and to my surprise, Airasia charges extra for credit card payment. I'm sure the last time I used it, it was not the case. Else I would have remembered. Anyway, I chose to proceed to pay with Maybank online banking as it was free. What else will Airasia think of in the future?

Forest Trail Maintenance

For regular MTB bikers such as myself, smooth and uninterrupted trail riding is important in the overall riding experience. How many times have you had to stop, unlock your pedal clips just to get over a fallen tree or un-ridable obstacle for mere mortals like us.

Which is why we should be thankful to people such as those from TRAKS, KDCF community or your local cycling community such as KTR, in the upkeep of the tracks. I was fortunate enough to see and help out, one in action. His name is Rizal and he's a member of TRAKS.
To people such as Rizal, I would like to say thank you and keep it up.
Tools of the trade.

FPL Gameweek 4

Going with 3 very expensive strikers for this week's Fantasy Premier League. Total value of the strikers stand at more than 30 million. Hope it's a good bet. Got rid of Fellani after his lacklustre performance last week against West Brom (would have kept him, just don't have the money...so it's a good excuse).

Current standings are as below;

Hello World of Blogspot

My first ever posting on a blog. Been wanting to have a blog of my own for quite some time now.
Thanks to my lovely wife for assisting me. She's quite experience, as she has her own blog going for quite sometime now; babyibu.

I hope to share all things sports, automotive, IT and life in general.

That's it for now. It's getting late and I'm tired from playing badminton and futsal. Got a cycling session tomorrow morning with the guys at KDCF.
